Printmaking: Plexiglass Etching

See how a simple drawing can become a print using a technique called plexiglass drypoint. You’ll trace an image onto a clear plexiglass plate, scratch the lines into the surface, add ink, and run the plate through our etching press to create your finished print.

Each session also includes our Print of the Month, a chance to look closely at a print selected from The Creative’s archives and learn a little about the artist, technique, and process.
