Georgia On My Mind

An evening of Georgia O’Keeffe-inspired life stories with Chautauqua performer, Dianne Moran.  She was accompanied by lovely period melodies of songstress Pat Frank.  Dianne draws from the documented letters of O’Keeffe’s many friends and her husband, celebrated photographer Alfred Stieglitz.  The life of the famous artist was not all world acclaim; she had her share of deep unhappiness and public condemnation.  Throughout her long life she remained totally devoted to art.  She was truly the Mother of Modernism in painting.
