"All About Owls"
Street painting is a performance art that began during the renaissance. It is a way to bring art to the public. Craig Thomas has been creating street paintings for 21 years in Europe, Canada, and throughout the United States.

Craig will create a sidewalk chalk work of art specifically designed for the Creative. Craig will be there all day, see what he is doing, then go for a hike, perhaps up to the Overlook (see below), and watch All About Owls then check back with his progress!
This "All About Owls" program begins at 1:00pm, will last about 45 minutes, and will explain the natural history of owls and talk about owls as raptors.

A ranger from St. Charles County Parks will also be manning spotting scopes up on the Overlook from 11:30-2pm, so everyone can get an up-close look at our local birds & other wildlife!
