Service Description

This was a 6-week art history survey with hands-on exploration of the different movements and styles with Teri Moore. It focussed on how and why art has been created globally through a brief exploration of the late 19th to early 20th century art - from the Impressionists to Contemporary times. Participants were introduced to several mediums, but were able to choose their favorite to make at least three pieces of work. There was guided practice in-session, but the participants were encouraged to take their work home, to spend as much time on it as they wanted before turning it in for an instructor/class critique. Pieces created in the class could be put on display for the Creative at Klondike's official opening in April 2023.
