Learn simple repair and replace on your own bike

  • 3 hours

Service Description

Because we are on the Katy Trail where a lot of cycling happens, and because as a cyclist I realize that folks often do not understand how their bike works (mostly women sadly), and how to fix minor issues should they arise, I offer this workshop. For three hours I will walk step by step through workings of your bike from the drive train to the brakes to tires and tubes. I will explain what happens when the gears are shifted, and how to change your personal bike’s setup should you desire, from seat to handlebars to pedals. I’ll talk about what to buy and how to decide how much you really need. I will tell you about my backpacking trips and how to prepare for one of your own whether one or multiple days. Instructor: Teri Moore Date/time 10/11/2023 5:30-8:00 Class size: must have 3 to run, maximum is unlimited Cost: $10 (its important and empowering)
