Have you ever noticed colorful decorations on barns while driving through the countryside and wondered about them? Want to learn more about them? Think you'd like to learn how to create one yourself? Then our Barn Quilt classes are for you! This course offers the option of both a Design session and a Painting session. You can choose to take just one of the classes or both. If this Painting class is the only Barn Quilt session you are taking, you choose from one of three designs (see below) and two different sizes (1x1 foot or 2x2 foot), and instructor Pat Moore will prime the boards and lay out the design ahead of time. If, on the other hand, you are also taking the design class, then you will be using your own design and do not need to choose one of hers. Pat will guide you in best practice for painting your quilt, using colors of your own choosing. If you are interested in both this and the Barn Quilt Design class, please make sure you not only register for BOTH classes, but also choose the "With..." option in each class to get a discounted rate. (Note: If you are ONLY interested in learning Barn Quilt Design, please sign up INSTEAD for the first class in this series "Barn Quilt Design".) Be sure to wear clothes that you won't mind getting paint on. You may also choose to wear an apron. Otherwise all supplies will be provided.
